Jonas Thiébaud I was a Swiss medallist and engraver born in Geneva in 1695. He worked in the mints of Geneva, Neuchatel, Bern, Lucerne, St. Gall, Augsburg and Appenzell and for the Count of Montfort, Prince of Hohenzollern, Duke of Württemberg, Elector of Bavaria, and other princes of the Empire. He died in 1769.
