Gerd Rothschild

Gerd Rothschild (Hebrew: גרד רוטשילד, born 5 February 1919 in Berlin, died 9 March 1991 in Tel Aviv) was an Israeli painter, artist and printmaker. He took part in the Second World War in the British Army and later in the Israeli War of Independence. Designer of posters for the Israel Defence Forces, medals and coins. With Zeev Lipman, he co-founded the Roli Studio.
